IDV S.R.L. — Italian Dolce Vita is a property consultancy and relocation firm based in Sicily. We help foreign buyers navigate the entire process of purchasing a home in Italy — from the first search to moving day.

We work exclusively for the buyer, with a fixed consultancy fee. We help you find the right property, coordinate the professionals, and connect you with a trusted real estate agency to handle the transaction. Our incentive is simple — to find you the right property at the right price, then support you through every step of the process.

This means we have no interest in showing you the most expensive option, no reason to rush you to a decision, and no financial link to any seller or agency.

What IDV Does vs. What the Agency Does

Two complementary roles. The agency handles legally regulated mediation. IDV handles everything else — and works exclusively for you.

Our Background

We Did It Ourselves First

Before helping others, we did it ourselves. We bought and renovated our own properties in Sicily. We dealt with the same bureaucracy, the same challenges, the same fears that every foreign buyer faces.

We learned which professionals to trust, where the process typically breaks down, and why most buyers need someone in their corner who speaks their language — not just linguistically, but in terms of approach and expectations.

That experience is the foundation of everything we do at IDV. Not theory. Not a business plan. A process we lived through, improved, and turned into a service.
