Who We Are
IDV S.R.L. — Italian Dolce Vita is a property consultancy and relocation firm based in Sicily. We help foreign buyers navigate the entire process of purchasing a home in Italy — from the first call to moving day.
We work for the buyer only, on a fixed consultancy fee. We help you work out what you're actually looking for, coordinate the professionals, and make sure you're dealing with licensed agencies on equal terms. Our fee is the same whatever you buy and whatever you pay for it, so we have no reason to push you towards anything.
This means we have no interest in showing you the most expensive option, no reason to rush you to a decision, and no financial link to any seller or agency.
In Numbers
Roles Explained
Two complementary roles. The agency handles legally regulated mediation. IDV handles everything else — and works exclusively for you.
We are not licensed real estate mediators. We don't hold sale mandates, we don't negotiate price, we don't collect purchase offers, and we're not paid by sellers or agencies.
The agency handles the regulated part of the transaction. We handle your side of it: understanding, coordination, language, and everything after the deed.
Our Network
We work with a trusted network of licensed professionals across Sicily. Every partner in our network is selected based on reliability, competence, and a shared approach to client care.
We don't recommend anyone we haven't personally worked with. We receive no commission from any professional in our network.
Our Background
Before helping others, we did it ourselves. We bought and renovated our own properties in Sicily. We dealt with the same bureaucracy, the same challenges, the same fears that every foreign buyer faces.
We learned which professionals to trust, where the process typically breaks down, and why most buyers need someone in their corner who speaks their language — not just linguistically, but in terms of approach and expectations.
That experience is the foundation of everything we do at IDV. Not theory. Not a business plan. A process we lived through, improved, and turned into a service.
